Boardmasters Surf Festival

The Relentless Boardmasters, under various guises, first took place on Fistral Beach over 25 years ago as the UK’s largest surf contest. In 1999 Sports Vision took ownership of the event and has steadily grown it into Europes largest surf, skate and music festival, hosting world class events across surf, skate and BMX. Athletes to have competed at the Boardmasters include the last 3 surfing World champions, Kelly Slater, Mick Fanning and the late Andy Irons, highlighting the pedigree on show at Fistral.
In 2005 RBM took the step into music and the Boardmasters Music Festival was born, overlooking the beautiful Cornish coastline atop the cliffs at its site in Watergate Bay. 5 years later and the relentless Boardmasters hosts the biggest rock/ pop acts from around the world, has broadcast partnerships with Radio 1, produces over 3 hours of as live footage for Channel 4 and is now widely regarded as one of the UK's favourite summer events.
