About Me
Mark Lobo was born in Hong Kong, raised in Japan and spent his high school and university years in Queensland.
After a number of years climbing the corporate ladder, his part-time passion quickly evolved into his full-time business, Mark Lobo Photography.
Often bringing his studio on location, he combines technical precision and natural expression to form his well recognized and colourful signature style. Playing off the surrounding environment and the genuine nature of his subjects, the result is both spontaneous and polished.
Mark's perfectly healthy obsession with inspiration and the idea of ‘six degrees of separation’ in Brisbane’s tightly knit creative community sets the foundation for his ongoing project entitled BNE. A dynamic, creative portraiture project with no set list of subjects and no set end date, BNE allows each of his subjects to choose their own inspirations to be photographed.
In 2009, the BNE collection will continue to grow while Mark continues to expand his work in creative portraiture and commercial photography.
