As a young boy, lost in a second hand book store, Marcelo Baez discovered a pile of dusty old comics that would forever change his destiny. Proficient only at daydreaming he would find the best outlet for his imagination was drawing and creating comics. After many struggles with the human anatomy (which continues to this day) he managed to produce his first creator-owned comic, Diabla! Voted favorite Australian comic on Ozcomics.com, this encouraged him to continue his creative struggle. Later he discovered the unique power of communicating with illustrations and set forth!
Now a fully functioning member of society, he has become a professional illustrator and designer who has worked for a variety of international clients such as:
- Scholastic
- Marvel/Disney
- ESPN Magazine
- Dallas Observer,

- Stone Arch books,
