Hello! I am an enthusiastic and experienced designer specialising in marketing, branding illustration and publication design. Over the last few years I have fostered a strong passion for typography illustration and photography. I love to engage with the material I’m working on in order to enhance communication through graphic elements. I enjoy being challenged, both creatively and intellectually, and bring a diverse skills set to the table.

Full-time Overview:
I was offered a position on the Marketing team with the Agency for Medical Innovations, Austria (A.M.I.) after completing a small freelance magazine advertisement for them in 2007. During my time there I worked as an independent graphic designer and was in charge of projects from concept through to production. These projects varied, the most outstanding being package designs for the Short Gastric Band and HAL RAR System, an A4 magazine advert for HAL RAR and several Illustrations used to demonstrate the advantages of A.M.I. products targeted towards doctors and patients.
Freelance Overview:
Since returning to Australia I have maintained a strong relationship with A.M.I. I have continued to design packaging for the range of products available at A.M.I. and illustrated medical procedures for HAL RAR and the Infusion Port System. This experience has refined my management of a client/ designer relationship and how to self direct and motivate myself in a professional manner.
My key responsibilities at Pan Macmillan included producing all artwork for individual book campaigns, ensuring
images were of highest quality and preparing files for both print and web. Design projects included point of sale
promotional posters, instore displays, as well as print and digital advertising. Time management was a major
component, I met deadlines whilst retaining a high standard for attention to detail.
Working with Newtown design studio Langue, I developed the Jazz Visions Festival 2010 identity for SIMA. I was selected out of 30+ UTS students based on a previous project where I designed a new identity for the festival and staionary for SIMA. My responsibilities for the project included designing illustrative matter for the JVF 2010 poster and flyer and preparing the files for pre-press.
I completed four weeks of work experience with Ascender Design in Surry Hills. During my time with Ascender, I observed informal client meetings, interacted with the staff, and completed set tasks such as Typesetting, Illustration, File Management etc. I was also given the opportunity to assist in the design of a catalogue for Artbank.
