Laura is a Producer of Design, Advertising, Photography, Print/Publishing, Digital, Object, Environmental, Events, 3D Animation/Interactive, Fashion and fun!

Being British born, Laura worked in London until the challenge of the new proved irresistible and she emigrated to the antipodes. Settling in sunny Sydney 8 years ago she set about building on her career (and surfing skills). Shortly after arriving Laura’s experience in management of international, multi-faceted projects saw her being head hunted by Vince Frost of Frost*Design. As Design Manager at Frost* Laura worked horizontally across various media and vertically through all stages of production, from conception to delivery. This experience culminated in her spring boarding to the most creative collective in Australia.

Reigniting her inspiration at Collider, an internationally renowned, Film, Design & Post Production Company Laura assumed the role of Senior Design Producer. Collaborating with joint partners Andrew van der Westhuyzen – CD, Daniel Askill – Film Director and Sam Zalaiskalns – CEO, Laura sought to expand their client base and manage the design team.

Laura’s expertise, confidence and vivacious personality has shaped projects with an illustrious list of clients including; Cate Blanchett & Andrew Upton - Artistic Directors of the Sydney Theatre Company, Sydney Opera House, Sydney Dance Company, Biennale of Sydney, D&AD London & POL Oxygen Magazines, Australian Directors Guild, Lend Lease Group, Qantas Airways, ACON (Aids Council), Schweppes, Seafolly Swimwear, Phaidon London, Virgin, Scanlan & Theodore, Grantpirrie Gallery and numerous boutique brands.

In addition to her professional responsibilities Laura enjoys taking on diverse personal projects. If an idea resonates with her she willingly devotes energy to making it happen. Such projects include the co-production of Australia’s leading youth grants initiatives’ for Qantas Airways – the Spirit of Youth Awards, a showpiece coffee table book documenting international surf photography for Aquabumps Gallery and lastly various shoots for Sydney-based Fashion photographers.

On a personal level Laura is gregarious and passionate about life and this shows in her work. Professional relationship building and maintenance are approached with the same zeal as those in her personal life. Defined by her positive outlook she thrives in a team environment and has a wicked sense of humour. However, her insatiable work ethic ensures an unwavering focus, promoting a healthy balance. Laura’s strong sense of self is reflected in her outward determination, yet this is tempered with intuitive social intelligence – meaning she has the confidence to hold her own but has no fears in tactfully offering her point of view when necessary.
