Creative Director/Project Manager Motionlink Directing an eight-member team for a Blu-ray and DVD post-production agency. Managing over 20 key accounts at one time. These accounts include Universal Studios, Rialto Distribution and Sony Home Entertainment and many others. I am responsible for overseeing and maintained deadlines as well as the organization and time management of staff in order to reach these deadlines. Motionlink is the first authorised Blu-ray facility in Australia. So far this year I have designed and created Blu-ray discs for Sony Pictures, Foxtel and the Discovery channel. I have also been in charge of researching and developing the graphic elements and the extent of the levels of interactivity that Blu-ray has to offer. Major contributions: - Maintaining correspondence with main client source. - Responsible for the planning, execution and closing of any project. - Client representative that has to determine and implement the exact needs of the client based on knowledge collected and sourced. - Strong Management of communication between all parties involved ensuring successful outcomes. - Management of quality control and scheduling of projects and clients. - Translate project objectives and requirements into compelling, workable user interfaces - Develop and present creative concepts - Direct developers and freelancers as required - Responsible for DVD & Blu-ray creation from concept through execution - Able to collaborate across different departments (Design, production, technical) - Research and develop tools to aid in post-production - Work with developers and outside vendors as needed to accomplish project goals - Create multiple interface design and layout solutions concurrently - Keep up to date with current and emerging relevant trends in the Blu-ray and DVD mediums - Provide design and art direction, to other production artists, freelancers and interns on any given project - Motivated and mentored a highly productive team of art directors and graphic designers - Assist in the creation of style guide policies, practices and standards - Provide general assistance, special projects and miscellaneous responsibilities as assigned |
