About Me

I am a BCI (Drama) graduate from Queensland University of Technology, where I completed a double degree in Drama/Education. As well as this I have completed numerous courses at The Actor’s Centre, NIDA, Griffin Theatre (with Kate Gaul), Suzuki Intensives with Zen Zen Zo, De Quincey Co., Legs on the Wall, Angry Mime Theatre, and John Paul Bell.
As an actor, I have performed lead and support roles in various short & corporate films for ABC, AFTRS, CommBank TV, Ikonfilm, Macquarie Uni, IFSS, SFS, UNSW, BAPTS, Trop Fest & Bond University, QLD. In theatre, I played Sarah/Ailsa and Rachel in 'Songs of Grace & Redemption' for Devil May Care/2010 Sydney Fringe Fest directed by Danielle O'Keefe, the storyteller in ‘Titus – The Ultimate Murder Ballad Musical’ for Gumption Uber Theatre/Darlinghurst Theatre, ‘Once a Catholic’ for Woodward Theatre (QUT), in ‘Pipin’, ‘Millenium’ and ‘Angels’ for Theatre North, and in ‘Hating Alison Ashley’ for Theatre-Theatre.
As a singer, I performed as weekly entertainment at Vino’s Riverside Wine Bar/Cafe, Glassworks Bar/Restaurant and Oakes Hotel (all Brisbane). In Sydney, I have provided entertainment at weddings and backing vocals for various band CD recordings.
As a director, I have directed & choreographed for theatre & musical productions mainly focusing on my specialty of working with young people. I directed ‘Loose Lips’, ‘Boy Overboard’ and ‘One’ for Green Bug Theatre, ‘Oliver! The Musical’, Return to the Forbidden Planet’, ‘Cross Town Traffic’, and ‘Tommy’ for Marist College North Shore. I was co-writer, assistant director and performer for Theatre North’s ‘Millenium’.
As a writer, my plays include ‘Loose Lips’ (adapted from Chris Wheat’s novel, Loose Lips) which I directed for Green Bug Theatre, touring the show in various North Sydney schools, and ‘Cross Town Traffic’ with Marist College North Shore.
I am also working as teacher and facilitator of acting workshops for teenagers, and a mentor for young actors, directors and writers across Sydney.
