About Me
I am a fashion and textiles designer, currently working in the US, having graduated with honours from the University of Technology, Sydney in 2010.
The unique aspect of my design work is the combination of design and hand rendered surface texture. Through the development of hand illustrated prints in particular, I am able to create a strong, emotionally engaging mood within a range. Engineering these prints to garment shapes that are expressive yet able to carry the print ideas strongly allows for a synchronism between the textiles and silhouettes that translates concept and mood. The creation of playful, expressive and beautiful textiles is central to my design aesthetic, demonstrating a strong creativity and providing a highly individual point of difference.
