    Senior Industrial Designer
    2001 - 2010

Nine years of experience leading fun, innovative ideas to market. Projects as varied as 40-foot-tall LED signage for Times Square, devices for the youth and outdoor market, hugely popular televisions for Latin America and Brazil, fashion accessories and soft goods, internet services and hardware, environments for CES and Sony Music, brand identity and strategy, and mobile audio together with Ford and Visteon. From initial research, concept ideation, sketching and prototyping, through to final engineering, packaging and retail, I’m happiest when I can stay hands-on through all stages of the development process. For most of my career I've been a part of a small team within a vast multinational corporation. That has meant indispensable access to Sony's global engineering and marketing resources combined with a nimble size that has allowed my team a unique degree of freedom and the ability to act as a de facto consultancy able to partner with outside firms, free to move beyond divisions, identifying and acting on opportunities otherwise missed.
