About Me

What's there to know? I guess my life has always been hectic, whether it's work, family life, friends, or even just my art. I grew up in a very exuberant family having three other siblings, 1 older brother, and 2 younger twin sisters who would've easily tested positive for ADD if they were tested in their younger years. I've been working in kitchens since I was 14. I think my parents’ incredibly strong work ethics rubbed off onto me, my mum being a born entrepreneur, and my dad usually holding 2-3 jobs at a time really showed me how hard life can be. My dad always said “you’ll always remember school as the best years of your life”. Truthfully, I don’t want to believe that. This life is what you make it and if school was the best life’s going to offer, then I’d rather not be living at all. I love cooking, and I almost left school to pursue a career in hospitality. The only thing that really stopped me was my passion for art and design. I love art. There'd be nothing more I'd want to do in life than just sit down with a pencil and place my mind on loose leaf for the rest of my life. But as I've found out, it's far from an easy industry to break into. I’ve already had my own T-shirts printed, plus I’ve been in several art shows around Melbourne and Sydney, and it’s barely scratched the surface of what this life could be. I guess once I grow big enough nails I might be able to break the surface. Otherwise in life I’ve been hit by a car, dealt with my parents’ worthwhile divorce, had my ass kicked several times by street gangs, threatened to be stabbed, put up with teachers telling me art is noting and it’ll get me no where, and also had an obese drunk woman punch me in the face for disco dancing on the bus. And not once do I look back and wish any of it to be different. These events have moulded me into who I am today, and to tell you the truth; I like what I’ve become.
