As founder of studio House & Universe, Emma's work advocates for collaborative and proactive retail spaces and designs laterally and creatively with each client's brand and premises. With a varied network across furniture makers, designers, artisans, artists, food professionals and business, Emma works with clients to open up commercial space to new ideas, activities, promotions, events and display opportunities.

• VM Planning and Execution: With a specialty in niche ideas, House & Universe works for clients to create interesting, artistic and sometimes thought provoking retail and product presentations.
• Mentoring & Workshops: House & Universe develops and delivers creative workshops and mentoring services to assist young designers and practitioners develop skills in micro business marketing for campaigning product to market.
• Strategy: House & Universe works one-on-one with independent designers and/or small business to formulate highly considered and custom visual merchandising strategy, staff training and retail planning.

House & Universe is an interdisciplinary design studio facilitated by Emma Davis. Specialising in display design, prop sourcing and construction, visual merchandising and interior styling.
At Aesop Emma was employed to coordinate and seamlessly implement high level visual merchandising and window design for 16 Aesop Signature Stores and 14 counters nationally. The position was held within the marketing team and worked closely with the creative director in merchandising, store environment managment, creative direction, prop production, styling and brand management.
