Egg started as a miniature bread bakery, creating canape sized breads for Melbourne's leading caterers and hotels. From this little beginning, Egg has developed into a catering company with many original and successful projects, including the little lunchbox, individually baked baby cakes and share hampers.
Egg's latest project, WELLBEING, came from the team wanting to produce foods that are positive for the body and the environment. Wellbeing embraces the latest research in superfoods and sustainability at the same time as being low GI, low or no sugar and high in protein. Wellbeing products are available in lunchboxes, share hampers, canapes and sweets.
The Egg kitchen operates seven days a week and drives the neighbours nuts with the smell of baking brioche, just melted chocolate and spiced loaves.
