Connect Awards - Supplier of the Year Concep, the global provider of digital marketing technology, swept the floor at the annual Marketing Direct Connect Awards winning the much-coveted ‘Supplier of the Year’ award and the ‘Digital Direct Marketing Services Supplier of the Year’ award. The event took place at Grosvenor House in London’s Park Lane. Concep’s portfolio of work over the last twelve months was described by the judges as ‘exceptional’, a panel that was chaired by Justin Basini, vice president of marketing for Capital One Europe, and included senior marketers from the retail, media, government and charity sectors. At the event, Basini told the audience that as the economy tightens “brands are more than ever looking to suppliers and agencies to generate return on investment through profitable response-driven marketing. And the good news, based on tonight’s evidence, is that direct marketers are best placed to deliver that.” Mark Power, chief executive at Concep, said: “It’s enormously gratifying to receive this type of commendation from your industry peers. Over the years we have developed a suite of solutions that have directly addressed the business challenges faced by our customers. We are acutely aware that this development depends on receiving both positive and negative feedback from the people that use our technology. Without this two-way communication channel, it would be far more difficult to provide a service that meets the needs of an ever evolving marketplace. Therefore, our success is very much down to open, honest dialogue and acting upon valuable feedback.” |
