I come from a background in Hospitality, Events and Film Production working in venues from the Sydney Harbour Marriott to the Sydney Superdome and for organisation including Microhire, AFTRS and the Hills Centre of Performing Arts.
I am relatively young and have worked as a unit manager, event manager and stage manager, I want to move into a more consistent role. For better or worse I've always loved production with its constant surprises.
At my previous job I was the customer service rep for a corporate events company. The role was deadline driven with a focus build and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers and effective time management were key. As the first point of contact for inquiries this position involved event coordination and sales both local and interstate, client consultation and technical support. I’ve juggled dozens of projects and clients, I’m reliable when assigned either self-directed or team based work, quick to learn new procedures and I am highly computer literate. My focus is foremost on the client, the team and the deadline.
Weekends and late nights are the norm for me and I can be available at short notice for any last minute emergency that might arise.
I am trained as an audio visual technician, I’ve completed a Bachelor of Communications (Media) and have worked from the ground up learning the details that everyone talks about when they write attention to detail and the range of troubles people face when they tell you they're an excellent troubleshooter.
I recently completed Post Graduate studies at AFTRS and am now looking for a production support role.
