Providing graphic design skills and services on a part time basis. Contributing logo development and rebranding options. Hands on assistance in creating mosaic murals and public art for community projects, predominately funded by Local Council anti-graffiti grants and/or public art schemes.
The most substantial project was a Mural for Engadine District Youth Services aided by my concept development and design. The 10m wall mural located in Engadine town centre, it is a reflection of the youth of the community and their interests in music and performing. Upon collaboration with these young people I created a design that addressed two key aspects. Create a visually appealing mural that will not only deter vandalism but encourage young people to utilise these musical facilities in a safe and supportive environment. The mural was constructed using various techniques and materials such as tiles, plywood and paint.
