Mariana was born in Buenos Aires. She was first trained as an architect at the ‘Universidad de Belgrano’ and then completed a Masters at the ‘Universidad Politecnica de Madrid’. Later, she continued studying fine arts at the ‘Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes Prilidiano Pueyrredon’ in Buenos Aires gaining a teaching degree in sculpture.
She emigrated to Australia in 2007 and became an artist-in-residence at the Bundanon Trust & Arthur Boyd Art Centre in Southern NSW. Since then, she has been working in the fields of both architecture and interior design in Sydney.
In 2011 her art installation ‘Journey Music’ was displayed at ‘Sculpture by the sea’ Cottesloe beach, WA and at the ‘Swell sculpture festival’ at Currumbin beach on the Gold Coast.
