Annette Golden

Annette Golden (www.annettegolden.com) is a Sydney based composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist with a passion for composing music for the moving image.

At the beginning of 2008, Annette returned to her first love, music, following a successful legal career spanning over a decade. During this time, Annette maintained her enthusiasm for music gained during her earlier B.Mus studies at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music by composing and arranging for small ensembles. She also performed and recorded on the electric violin, using innovations such as loop stations and other FX devices.

Since embarking on her new career, Annette's compositions have received airplay in Paris, Denmark, New York and Los Angeles, as well as live and broadcast performances in Sydney.

In 2009, Annette completed a Grad Dip in Screen Music at Australia's premier film school, AFTRS. She has been invited back in 2010 to present workshops on the subject of film music.

Annette is keen to work with other creatives in Theatre, Film/TV and Dance, who are inspired by the power of music to enrich the substance of their storytelling.
