Aga Switala was born in Poland, to parents who loved to travel, exposing her to different cultures and ideas from a very early age. Themes relating to identity, interconnectedness and femininity remain at the centre stage of her practice. At COFA she was able to work with versatile spectrum of media, broadening her craft and identity as an artist. Although the focus of her study was video making she loves engaging in cross- disciplinary projects. In the future she would like to focus on filmmaking, and work with passionate people on projects that challenge and inspire.
